Effective promotion that attracts clients

Knowing how to promote your business can be a bit daunting. In this conversation, I discuss ways to stand out and connect with your audience. We discuss the journey from knowing what you want to do to promote yourself by:

  • Selecting your model client, creating an Avatar. This means defining what your ideal client's needs and expectations are along with their demographics and any specific disability they may have.

  • Understand what their living situation is most likely to be (are they living with family, are they independent, are they in a clinical, school or community setting etc)

  • What is the person's needs likely to be?

  • Are you using images in your marketing that best reflect your ideal client and their location/area they live?

    • Male or female,

    • Age group,

    • Activities are they likely to be doing with you.

    • Do the images appear genuine and reflective of the community?

  • Building trust with your potential clients through the connection they make between what you say about yourself and your service and if your messages and images resonate with them. Also, how genuine and caring you are coming across as.
