Completing your online application for NDIS Registration is Step 7 of the total of 9 Steps required. Preparing the information before you start your application may be the hardest part, but it will make the whole process smoother and easier. The following checklist and explanation below will help clarify what you need.

These NDIS documents will help with your NDIS Registration Application:

  1. Table of NDIS Registration Requirements - see as below

  2. NDIS Practice Standards

  3. Provider Registration Guide To Suitability

  4. Your business's documents for uploading - see recommended list as below.

As you work through the NDIS Registration online application, will need to address each of the following topics or questions. Additional questions may be asked depending on which Registration Groups you select.

Topics in the Application Form

  • Key Personnel in the business

  • Entity Details

  • Suitability

  • Service Delivery

  • Self Assessment Questions

    • the questions asked are based on the NDIS Practice Standard Modules that apply to your business. Know which ones apply by identifying the Services you wish to provide in the below table. If you are unsure of which services you wish to provide, you can review the Provider Registration Guide to Suitability.

    • Check which column/s your services appear in. If any services fall into the High Risk Group or High Risk Modules (see the dark aqua row of headings), then the Verification, Core Module and/or Supplementary Modules apply (see the grey row of headings). You can then look up the Standards that apply to either the Verification, Core Module or Core + Supplementary Modules.

  • Your answers need to demonstrate your understanding of the Standard and provide a description of how to meet the Quality Indicators. You may also provide a reference to the specific area where it is listed in your Policies and Procedures.

  • See the below example of one of the Standards as it appears in an excerpt from the NDIS Registration Application Form (for the Core Module):

An email will be sent to you with a link (and an application ID number) to log back into your application at any time over the next 60 days. You can write down your application ID number as well, to keep handy for your records. Once the 60 days timeframe has elapsed, you will no longer have access to your application.
